  • General Questions
    • How do I order or get a quote?
      • There is a “Quick Quote” button on every product page – just click it and fill out the information. Quotes come back in 24 hours or less (unless we are really busy.)
    • What kind of sign should I get?
      • Here are a few ways to help make your decision:

        First select from the Menu above if the signage is going on the Interior or Exterior of your building.
        If you want something that is painted a certain color than Plastic, Acrylic or Minnesota Letters are great options.
        If you want something that is metal or looks like metal than Flat Cut Metal, Cast Metal, and Metal on Acrylic or Foam are great options.
        If you want something that lights up refer to the “Illuminated” section in the main menu above.
        Refer to the pricing tables on each product page to determine if the letters are within your budget.
    • What size should I get?
      • There are three determining factors for sign size. 1)Price, 2) how much space you have for the sign, and 3) how far away the sign needs to be viewable from:

        Price – If you have a budget, let us know. We don’t want to waste each other’s time quoting you for a massive $3,000 sign, when you have a $500 budget.

        How Much Space You Have
        – We’re sometimes restricted by how much space you have for the sign. If you have a 10ft wide wall, we don’t want to quote you for a 15ft wide sign. Generally, there should be no less than 5-10% of space on each of side of the sign. So for a 10ft wide wall, you should have 6”-12” of space on each side (5%-10%).

        How Far Away The Sign Needs To Be Viewable From
        – The general rule of thumb is that for every inch of letter height, it can be viewable from 20ft away. So 5”, it can be viewable from 100ft, 10” from 200ft, etc. Keep this in mind for exterior letters being viewed from roads and highways.
    • Do you provide proofs of what my sign will look like?
      • Absolutely, we will provide you a “to scale” rendition of what your sign will look like. We will also provide “material” images, so you have a better idea of what certain materials look like, and of course we can also send you samples upon request (shipping/handling fees may apply for samples).
    • Do you design logos?
      • Nope. We are a sign shop – not a design firm. We can modify logo’s and fonts, but we do not design logos from scratch. If you don’t have a logo yet, we recommend contacting a local designer, or a design website like 99designs.com, LogoGarden.com, or LogoYes.com. Make sure they provide you with a “vectored” logo (.ai, .eps, .pdf) when they are done.
    • What if I don't have a logo yet?
      • Well you're SOL. Just kidding. Send us what you have, and we will let you know if you need it professionally designed, or if we can work with what you have. Again, we recommend contacting a local designer, or a design website like 99designs.com, LogoGarden.com, or LogoYes.com.
    • Can you match my logo? What about colors?
      • Hopefully your logo is done in a “vectored” format (.ai, .eps, .pdf). If so, we can match it exactly. If it isn’t in a vectored format, then we might have to convert it for an additional cost ($20-$40). Matching colors are easy, as long as we know the Pantone number.
    • Turnaround times?
      • All of the lead times are listed on the product pages. Make sure to factor in an additional 2-5 Working Days for shipping (Shipping can be expedited for additional fee)

        Formed Plastic: 4-5 Working Days + 1-2 Working Days for painted
        Acrylic: 4-5 Working Days + 1-2 Working Days for painted

    • Do you do rush orders?
      • For most of our products – no we can’t. We learned a long time ago – Rush orders just mess up the whole system. However, for our foam and metal on foam letters, we can maybe push the process up 2-3 days. Rush shipping can be done for all orders, but that gets expensive real quick.
    • What file types should I send?
      • Vectored files are our preference: .ai, .eps, .pdf. But if you have a jpeg, send us that, and we can work a quote from that.
    • Do you have a minimum order? And why?
      • For any of our custom Letters - $75, For custom signs - $150, for changeable letters – no minimum.
    • How do I check the status of my order?
      • We provide lead times with every quote and every order. If you haven’t received shipping confirmation and it is still within the estimated lead time, then the sign is still being manufactured. Once a sign is shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
    • Do you send free samples?
      • Samples are free, the shipping is $10. If you want a specific size and font or shape – we might have to make it, then we will have to charge retail price for it.
    • What do you mean by Lifetime Guaranteed?
      • A lot of our exterior and interior sign letters carry lifetime guarantee’s. Meaning: that we will replace the letter if it; chips, cracks, fades, or tarnishes dues to natural causes or normal wear. The Lifetime Guarantee does not cover faulty installations, or damage done from natural disasters or vandalism.
  • Installation Questions
    • How do I install this sign?
      • Most of our signs are really easy to install, and we can supply you with mounting templates and instructions on how to install your sign. Refer to our install videos and instructions here:
    • Do you offer professional installations?
      • Yes, we do. If you would like to have someone install the signage for you, we can arrange to have it professionally installed. We do not mark up professional installation prices.
    • Do you help with permits?
      • We can help with all the necessary drawings and layouts you will need for the permit process in your city, but we will not file the permit for you. (most city’s require personal involvement from the actual sign owner or installer).
    • What are mounting patterns/templates?
      • Mounting patterns are paper templates of the exact outline of your signage project. These patterns will show you exactly where to place your letters or logo’s, and where to drill holes if necessary. Refer to our install videos and instructions here for more details:
    • What kind of mounting hardware should I use?
      • Stud Mounts: Most commonly used stud. Can be used on any surface. Requires drilling. Stands off the wall 3/8” or more.
        Flush Stud Mounts: Can be used on any surface. Requires drilling. Mounts flush.
        Double Sided Tape: Can be used on most any hard surface. Not available for metal or illuminated letters.
        Pad Mounts: Requires adhesive. Can be used on any hard surface.
  • Pricing, Payment, and Returns
    • Can I get a discount?
      • We give discounts for multiple sets of signage projects, or large quantities of sign letters.
    • What forms of payment do you accept?
      • We accept all forms of credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and checks. We do not accept purchase orders.
    • Do you accept POs (purchase orders)?
      • Sorry, No. We do not have the time or man power to chase after outstanding invoices.
    • Can I pay after I receive my sign?
      • All of our signs and signage projects are custom and made to order. We require full payment prior to starting the project. We do not have the time or man power to chase after outstanding invoices.
    • Someone is offering a better price? Will you match it?
      • We always welcome the offer to match a competitors price. (as long as we are comparing the same products, etc). But we pride ourselves on offering the best quality signage in the industry. We never recommend saving a few bucks if it means sacrificing quality.
    • Can I cancel my order?
      • You can cancel your order at anytime, but the sooner the better – because if we have already made your project, you may only be able to recoup the shipping cost. All cancelations are subject to how far along the project is in the manufacturing process. If we have not started the manufacturing process, then you will receive a 100% return.
    • What is your return policy?
      • We only accept returns for our Changeable letters, for 100 % of the price of the letters. Custom Signs are non returnable. Formed Plastic, Minnesota, Cast Meta, Flat cut Acrylic and Metal can be returned for 20% of the value of the sign letters cost.
    • What if there is something wrong with my sign?
      • We must be notified of any issues within 5 business days of the sign being delivered. Occasionally we make a mistakes, if this is the case we will do whatever is necessary to replace or repair your sign ASAP.
  • Shipping
    • Do you accept UPS or FedEx account numbers?
      • Nope. We ship out thousands of packages annually and have negotiated the best shipping rates for FedEx and UPS.
    • Where do you ship?
      • Basically all over the world. We have shipped to military bases in Kuwait, resorts in the Bahamas and airlines in Alaska. Shipping in the continental US is obviously easier, but we can ship your signage anywhere.
    • Do you do rush orders?
      • We offer Rush Shipping for an additional fee, but most of our products cannot be rush manufactured.
    • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
      • All of the lead times are listed on the product pages. Make sure to factor in an additional 2-5 Working Days for shipping (Shipping can be expedited for additional fee)

    • My sign arrived and it was damaged?
      • If your sign has arrived damaged or missing some pieces, let us know immediately. We must be notified of any issues within 5 business days of the sign being delivered. If you contact us after 5 business days of the sign being delivered then we might not be able to help you.
